Marzella Harris - President of Regional Operations and Programs for True Blessings non-profit organization. Marzella obtains the passion and drive to decrease generational poverty in Pierce County. True Blessings was established by Ms. Harris in 2003. She loves to inspire and guide youth to take the right path, and to assist disadvantaged families to gain self-sufficiency through general life skills. She obtains a Masters of Science in Leadership (2016), a Bachelor of Arts in Human Community Advocacy (2014), an Associates in Applied Science in Human Service (2011), and four certificates: Family Support Specialist, Youth Development Specialist, Human Services Initial, and Pre-Employment Corrections.
Ms. Harris helps families to plan, schedule and accomplish goals while respecting their confidentiality. She provides advocacy, support, resources, and outreach services to at risk youth and families, and is passionate about bridging the gap between provided services and needed services.
Ms. Harris is involved with numerous non-profit Boards and programs located in Pierce County and surrounding areas. Her passion and determination to assist people and give back to the community is the reason True Blessings was created. Ms. Harris is a 39 year old single mother of five children ages 22, 18, 16, 15, and 11. She loves to dance and read in her free time.
