Young Starz Girl Scouts meets every Saturday from 11am - 1pm, unless stated otherwise. Since Troop Members are both Girl Scouts and Young Starz dancers, all girls 9 and older can participate weekly. Girls age 8 and under will only be Girl Scouts until they are old enough to join Young Starz but will have “field trips” to the Young Starz classroom as scheduled.
There will be additional Girl Scout field trips that may occur on other days of the week.
We will be asking for family volunteers to provide a small, healthy snack on Girl Scout Saturday meeting days. Let us know which meetings you can help out with and keep track of what you’ve volunteered for in the table below. Please let us know if your family has any allergies!!! If your family would like to support snack during Young Starz, weeks let us know.

Troop Communications & RSVP’s
Please let us know what your preferred method of communication is:
Social media - Facebook
True Blessings Website
If we have a closed group social media site we will talk about social media guidelines to follow when it’s created.
Our primary communication right now will be the parent check-in for the first 15-20 minutes of every Girl Scout (1st Saturday) meeting.
Going to miss a meeting?
Please let us know so we can plan accordingly
As we plan field trips and troop outings we will discuss how best to handle RSVPs and cancellations. If troop money is used and/or safety is impacted we will determine consequences for…
RSVPing “no” and showing up
RSVPing “yes” and not showing up (you might be asked to reimburse the troop)
Cookie and/or Fall Product Sales Expectations
There are no expectations or requirements for girls to participate in either Council money earning activity.
We do plan on selling Cookies. Dates will be determined. We will have limited booths to start our Girl Scout experience and will involve the girls and parents more as we get closer to Cookie Time.
